At Eduxie, we respect your right to privacy and data ownership. This page explains the process for deleting your account and requesting removal of your data from our platform.
Please note: For student accounts managed by schools, the primary request should go through your school administrator. However, students may also submit deletion requests directly to Eduxie.
Follow these steps to request account deletion:
For student accounts managed by schools, first contact your school's IT department or administrator. They can manage account deletion on the administrative side, which may be faster.

We will verify your identity and send a confirmation email. You may be asked to confirm the deletion request to prevent unauthorized account removal.
Your account will be deleted within 30 days. We will send a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Upon account deletion, the following information is permanently removed:
Name, email, phone number, profile picture, and biographical data
Login history, session data, and device information
Submissions, comments, and any content you uploaded
Exceptions: We may retain certain data for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or security purposes. This may include anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you.
In addition to account deletion, you have the following rights:
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
You can request correction of inaccurate personal data.
You can request your data in a portable format to transfer to another service.

In most cases, deletion occurs much faster (within 7-10 days). This timeline complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.
